Which fireworks are Legal in Connecticut and Rhode Island?CT State Law permits the sale of sparklers and ground based fountains up to 200 grams. RI State Law permits sparklers, ground based novelties, and ground based fountains up to 500 grams.

Can I buy fireworks when S&T's Fireworks tents are closed?YES! Our fireworks store in Taftville, CT is open from mid May until Labor Day and from December 26th to January 1st if you want to buy fireworks and any other time in the year call our store and leave a message - we will send someone to open the fireworks store for you

How old do you have to be to purchase fireworks( CT/RI )?You must be at a minimum 16 years old to purchase and or use fireworks.

Does S&T's Fireworks give military discount?Yes. Show a military ID at any S&T's fireworks location and you will recieve a 10% discount.

Are all fireworks "Buy One Get One FREE"?"No, only on select items are buy one get one free, all buy one get one free are marked in the stores.

What is the safest way to light off fireworks?We Recommend lighting off all fireworks on a flat and level piece of plywood held down by cement blocks. Always have a hose or bucket of water nearby. If there are low-hanging tree branches nearby, you should make sure they are not dry enought to ignite (spray with hose).

Will fireworks kill the grass in my yard?Yes! fireworks can kill grass if lit directly on the ground. We suggest using a piece of plywood held down by cement blocks to minimize lawn damage. not only will it protect the lawn, but it is much safer to light fireworks on a flat, level surface.
